Mission
The Arizona Dude Ranch Association came to our team for a rebrand and website redesign. As part of the project, the ranches were looking to update the photography for each of the ranches. The goal was to provide consistent assets that showcase the diversity of the ranches throughout the state while highlighting the activities that guests can take part in during their stays.

Strategy
Since the ranches are located across the entire state of Arizona, we decided that it would be a great opportunity to show the range of experiences that potential guests could have. While immersing ourselves at each ranch, we would capture the stay firsthand.
Challenge
Since each dude ranch would be accommodating paying guests during our shoots, it was important to cause as little disruption as possible. We treated this project as an event shoot, capturing most moments candidly and with minimal, if any setup. Our team had to be prepared from sunrise to sundown, act with care around animals, and do our part to enhance and not take away from the guest experience at the ranches.
Outcome
Each ranch provided such a unique experience. We were able to capture international travelers, multiple generations that have made an annual dude ranch stay a decades-long tradition, and first-timers seeing what Arizona has to offer. We overcame the logistical hurdles and provided the ranches with a consistent and high quality visual direction that will be sure to entice potential guest worldwide.
