Mission

Award-winning film editor Jordan Orme, was looking to release some new merchandise for his loyal YouTube followers and community affectionately know as “screen beans”

Outcome

I created and presented four different design concepts based on the brief to be used on a variety of items.

Challenge

I was tasked with designing the concepts with a quick turnaround. The client sent over a couple mood boards to base the designs around and allowed me to create from there. Given the client’s busy schedule there weren’t many opportunities for communication but it was a great opportunity and a real test to translate the client’s wishes into something great!

Transformation

I based my product selection on items that Jordan had previously featured in his online store. He is known for reacting to K-pop music videos and wanted to incorporate some elements of that into the merchandise while keeping a clean, simple aesthetic. I decided to focus on a couple signature elements from Jordan’s videos: Dance (댄스) Therapy, and his community known as Screen Beans.
